Paddy McCafferty, pastor of Corpus Christi parish in Belfast, Ireland who stated in a Facebook post that, “The challenge presented by the ‘Yes’ vote is vast but we [will]…continue to bear witness to the unalterable, unrepealable truth about the evil of abortion….We will seek to persuade people that the barbarism of abortion is never a solution worthy of any human being, in any situation, circumstance, or dilemma….The grotesque and macabre scenes at Dublin Castle on May 26, the sight of jubilant crowds and gleeful politicians, rejoicing in the impending dismemberment of countless numbers of future Irish children, was truly shocking and deeply saddening. Nevertheless, it is a call to action.” Father says he will protest outside abortion mills in Ireland.
May St. Patrick, intercede for his adopted land overtaken once again by modern pagan Druids who celebrate human sacrifice. May St. Patrick, through Ireland’s faithful clergy, once again proclaim, “I will spread my net to find everyone for God.” May the Apostle of Ireland be with Fr. McCafferty and bless his every effort to restore the Catholic faith in the country that was once a shining example of love for God, the family, and especially children. May God have mercy on Ireland!

***To Archbishop Bruno Forte and Cardinal Lorenzo Baldiserri who are organizing the youth synod in October which looks like another manipulation to move the Church toward the modernist, hedonistic world view. May all their efforts at promoting homosexual behavior and making it normative fail. Let us ask the intercession of St. Peter Damian, who wrote the Book of Gomorrah (circa 1051) exposing the homosexual corruption in the Church of his day. And let us pray for all the clergy of our own time who actively enable sodomy, same-sex “marriage,” adultery, cohabitation, and all the vices that accompany the deadly sin of lust. Their scandal threatens their very salvation.
